We have a growing community of people in their 20's and 30's at A2U2 and within our greater community! We are excited to be in the process of forming a community for UU Young Adults of Southern Maine. This wider community includes connections with First Parish in Portland and First Universalist Church in Auburn, and we would welcome involvement from other UU neighbors, as well! Our group is also open to those who are eighteen or nineteen, as well as significant others, and many events are child-friendly or have childcare options.
We like to plan a variety of events, with at least one each month. In the past this has included lunches, small group ministry, bowling, evening worship services, potlucks, baking events, game nights, pie and video showing, camping trips, and walks on the coast.

Upcoming activities:
May: Date is TBD:
We are thinking of having a walk and picnic at someplace like Gilsland Farms or Mackworth Island
June 6: 9:00 - 3:00
A group of us will be volunteering at a Portland Habitat for Humanity House, followed by a barbecue.
These events can also be found on our Facebook page for the UU Young Adults of Southern Maine group.
We'd also love to get feedback from you about what activities you're interested in, what times you prefer for events, how involved you want to be, and more. Please fill out the survey in the below link to let us know your thoughts.
