Worship at Allen Avenue UU in Portland, Maine

	Worship Services from our church. Here you will find both printable and audio files from worship services presented by our minister Rev. Mykel Johnson as well as lay services presented by the creative and spiritual efforts of church members and friends.
	Lay Participation in worship. We welcome your participation in worship services led by our minister or designed by our Worship Committee or other groups. Lay members and friends produce some of our most cherished services and new and creative efforts.
	Share the plate. Our church has pledged to support both the work of our congregation and the work in our community. Each week, a portion (one-half beginning in Sept. 2009) is donated to a worthy community cause.
	Weddings at our church. We celebrate committed unions of both heterosexual and same-sex couples, and have advocated for the rights and protections of legal marriage to be granted to same-sex couples.
	Child Dedications. For both newborn and older children, we stand as a church to welcome them into the community of life and celebrate their individuality.
	Memorial Services. When a loved one dies, Unitarian Universalists come together to support those who are grieving, and to honor and celebrate the life of the person who has died.
