Adult volunteering for Religious Education

As a church with very limited staff resources, adult volunteers lead the way through their involvement on committees, participation with workdays and Sunday coffee hour.  Also, volunteering as leaders with the children and youth programs, and pledging, as each is able, the financial resources that pay for the church’s year-to-year operation costs.

We welcome your participation and would love to tell you more about opportunities to volunteer in our RE program!

Please contact our Director of Religious Education.

The RE Committee

The RE Committee has responsibility for the youth and children’s Program. This group of volunteers works with the Director of Religious Education to formulate goals, select curricula and evaluate the varied programs described in this brochure.

The RE Committee is open to new members!  If you are interested in joining the Religious Exploration Committee or helping with a special project, please contact the Director of Religious Education for more information.

RE Workshop Leaders and Guides

There are over 60 adult volunteers each year leading our groups and facilitating our youth program. We are a cooperative program and rely heavily of help from church members, families, and volunteers.

Senior Youth Group Advisors

The Senior Youth Group is led by a team of dedicated adult advisors. Advisors are members of the church and are interviewed by the DRE. Our youth meet weekly during our 9 a.m. service, and occasionally outside of Sundays.
