Restorative Justice is a balanced approach to our justice system that shifts our priorities and resources from a system focused on retribution for crimes against the state to a system centered on creating a just society by engaging victims, the community and offenders in a structured dialogue that repairs harm and rebuilds relationships while holding the offender accountable.
