Nursery Care

We welcome families with infants and toddlers at Allen Avenue. Young children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their families. We also offer Nursery Care during both the 9 am and 11 am Sunday morning worship services for ages infant to 4.

Our Nursery is staffed by two paid childcare providers to provide consistency for young children. Family members may stay with a young child as long as is needed. When it feels comfortable, we encourage adults to attend worship services while the child plays with our caring staff members. We will ask you to register your child for safety purposes. Please talk to a nursery staff member to complete a registration form. We also ask that your child have a fresh diaper before leaving your child with nursery staff.

Some helpful spaces at A2U2 for families with young children:

The foyer area just outside the sanctuary doors is equipped with an audio system so adults whose infant needs space to move and "talk" may hear the worship service. A changing table is located in the one-person bathroom by the RE Foyer and Minster’s Office. The Nursery has a comfortable cushioned space and a rocking chair to soothe little ones.

Nursery Care is offered for infants, toddlers and preschoolers during the 9am and 11am worship services.

Please contact the Director of Religious Education for more information.
